To guide this process, we will be working closely with two main groups: a Steering Committee and a Technical Committee.

Steering Committee (SC)

The SC will inform the process and serve as advocates for the Plan. They are not a voting body but a sounding board, ensuring that every step of the plan fits within the character of each community. Their role is to be leaders of and active participants in each Steering Committee meeting; be creative and think big; weigh in on decisions; collaborate with other groups; assist in getting the word out; be active listeners and solutions-oriented; and participate in public outreach events.

Technical Committee (TC)

The TC will offer technical expertise and support throughout the planning process. TC members are representatives of City and County departments and other agencies, technical experts within each Municipality, and end-users and implementers of the Vision and Growth Strategy.
